Pall-Ex has welcomed back Pegasus Express to it's palletised freight distribution network after a three-year absence. The haulier, which has depots in Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow and Preston originally left the network in 2008 and decided to rejoin to help facilitate business expansion.

Pegasus Express will now cover the AB, HS, IV, KW, PH, DD and part of the ZE postcode areas for the network headed by Hilary Devey.

Steve Reed, Pall-Ex's director of network development commenting on the return of Pegasus Express said, "The Pegasus approach is service led and will enable Pall-Ex to improve efficiency in key postcode areas in Scotland."
"Furthermore, our relationship will also give Pegasus opportunities to expand their business requirements achieving a robust solution for all of their customers."

Joe McNab, director at Pegasus Express added, "We are delighted to be back on board with Pall-Ex. 2012 will be a period of expansion for us and we are confident that Pall-Ex's network model and membership benefits will help us to achieve the desired growth."

Established in 1980, Pegasus Express has continued to go from strength-to-strength and today offers a comprehensive pallet and parcel service, same day delivery in the UK and extensive warehousing facilities.

As well as expanding its UK membership, Pall-Ex is continuing to push forwards with it's European expansion. Having already launched Pall-Ex Italia and Pall-Ex Iberia, Pall-Ex Romania launched earlier this month, becoming the first pallet network of its kind in Eastern Europe and handling 180 pallets on its first night of operation.
